My name is Ben Holland. I am an artist and illustrator based in Heaton (originally known as High Town), Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Call me an old traditionalist but I like to hand draw all my work on paper using a pen and pencil. I also like collaborations, commissions and tea (white, no sugar).

Tynemouth's Grand Hotel was initially commissioned in 1872 by the Duke of Northumberland as a summer residence for the Duchess. It was converted to a hotel in 1877 and has stood as an iconic seafront landmark ever since.
