G. Scott is Newcastle's oldest barber shop. Having opened on Mosley Street in 1859 it moved to its current location on Amen Corner in 1919.
It is currently owned by Dave “Sweeney Todd” Parker who has run the shop since the 1960's, providing hair cuts in the 'Flat Top Factory' for Newcastle's more discerning Teddy Boys ever since.
The best place in town to get a "flat top", a "hep cat" or a "psychobilly".
